So as I was pondering things today (I have a lot of time to ponder here...) I came upon a strange thought. Why Juliet Capulet? I mean, yeah, Romeo and Juliet has a great ring to it, but why Capulet. Think about it, Juliet Capulet??? Not exactly a great romance kind of name, if you know what I mean... Like, how would she indtroduce herself, "Hi, I am Juliet Capulet. I am going to fall madly in love with this guy Romeo and eventually kill myself for him... but anyways my parents also totally have this thing for matching names!"
Maybe she married Romeo so she could get a different last name...
*Note: Yes, I really that this is totally historically and literally inaccurate *
